Dispatcher of the Year
Each year Heartland Communications awards one of its telecommunicators with a Dispatcher of the Year Award. The dispatcher of the year award is nominated by their peers in the dispatch center and is announced during National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week (NPSTW). The Dispatcher of the Year Award was first awarded in 2022.

EMD Top Performer of the Year
Each year Heartland Communications awards one of its Telecommunicators with the Top EMD Performer of the Year Award. The Top EMD Performer of the Year award is based on EMD (Emergency Medical Dispatch) performance scores calculated throughout the year and is announced during National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week (NPSTW).
